Episode 17 is here, and we’re back with another interview! This episode, Michelle Grace Hunder talks about why it’s important to foster positive working relationships with clients, the best way to get started with music photography, and why you should avoid signing restrictive photography contracts.

Last episode hadLuke Henery talking about film photography, so if you haven’t heard that one yet, I recommend you check it out.

About the episode

Michelle Grace Hunder is a music photographer from Melbourne, Australia. I met Michelle back very early on in my photography journey, so she was definitely someone I wanted to get on the podcast. It’s been four years, but I’m so happy we finally got a chance to do it. Michelle is half of the power couple behind Her Sound, Her Story. You can follow Michelle on social media through Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

Photography contracts

Whether you you are a wedding photographer, real estate photographer, take senior portraits, or do some other type of photography, copyright ownership is a real issue. As a business owner, it’s important to understand legal contracts because intellectual property can be a grey area. We talk about music photography contracts a bit on this episode but because it’s a legal document, you should always get legal advice.
